Sleeping Beauty

Julia hasn't been feeling too well (again!!) the past day or two, and has been so tired. When the kids aren't feeling well, we always pull the sofa bed out for them to sleep on. Julia fell asleep and just looked so cute I had to take a picture!

In class today, Micah made this Koala. I love his artwork, so I wanted to post it on here.

Julia dancing

Julia LOVES to dance! She dances anytime she hears music. Tonight, she kept pushing the hand on a dancing santa we have and dancing. I thought it was so cute, so I wanted to post the video!

Micah's joke

Micah really loves to tell jokes, and usually he just makes them up and they don't make too much sense. However, this is the first joke he has learned that makes a bit of sense. He learned it from spongebob and hasn't stopped telling it to people since he learned it.

Micah: What do you call a snail on a ship?

Me: what?

Micah: A snailor!

little update

Hello everyone! It has been a week or so since I have updated because last week (Monday through Thursday), Julia had a bit of a stomach bug. We have mostly just been hanging around in the house instead of out and about as usual. Now that she is better, I will be updating as usual again.

New Years

On New Years Eve, Kenji, the kids and I, drove up to Bakersfield to spend New Years with Kenji's family. Silvia and Shuji are moving soon to San Jose, so we wanted to spend a few days visiting before they moved. Everyone had such a great time. We all had a nice time visiting, and the kids LOVE playing with Abuela, Abuelo, Tia and Tio Fermin! Micah kept Tia and Tio busy playing Transformers and Julia had so much fun playing with Abuela! We were there for 2 nights, and on the last day, Micah didn't want to leave!
