Growing up!
Micah has had a loose tooth for a few months now and has been so excited at the thought of the Tooth Fairy coming. He has been playing with it every day in hopes of making it fall out faster. Today, the tooth finally fell out!! He didn't notice it when it fell out though, and he swallowed it. He was SO upset that he swallowed it because he thought that meant the Tooth Fairy wouldn't show up. I explained to him that she would still know that he lost the tooth, and she would still visit. He was so happy!

Open House
Tonight was Open House at Micah's school! We got to go into his classroom to see all of the work he has done. I work a lot in his classroom, so I get to see everything all of the time, but its nice for Kenji (and my mom who went) to see what he is learning. The children all made life size duplicates of themselves, and they were sitting in their seats when we walked in. The whole classroom was filled with their artwork and it was so cute.
The cafeteria was turned into an art studio that was filled with different art projects from throughout the year. Every week for 10 weeks, 2 other moms and I would help the kids create an art project and we hung them all up for everyone to see.

Micah's 6th birthday party!!
Micah had his 6th birthday party today (May 15th) with all of his friends from school and outside of school. The party was at Bright Child. It's a HUGE indoor playcenter. Micah had SO much fun!! He had about 30 friends there! I hardly saw him the entire time because he was so busy playing with all of his friends. The party was 2hrs. and he got to play, get air brushed tatoos, eat pizza and cupcakes!

Colonial Days
Last week the Reagan Library had a Colonial Days event. I always take the kids to the Reagan Library events because they always have SO much fun there! This time was no exception. Micah and Julia had a lot of fun. They both started out a little shy and didn't want to do anything, but after walking around for a little bit, they both got into it and had a really great time. They had a lot of displays of tools, doctors offices, leather, wool spinning, etc. from the colonial days. They also had a lot of arts and crafts and games set up. They both made satchels, pomanders and writings from a feather pen. They also got to play a lot of old games like Graces, Whirligigi's, Jacobs Ladder and Tabletop Ninepins. Micah and Julia both had a really great time and they came home exhausted!!
