Micah skateboarding

For Christmas, Micah got a new skateboard from Santa! He had wanted one so bad, and was SO excited to finally get one! These pictures are from his very first time ever riding a skateboard. He did really well for his first time, but he got upset a few times because he fell. He loves his skateboard and has not stopped riding it since Christmas morning.

Christmas day and night

On Christmas day after we opened presents from Santa, we went to my Granddads house for Christmas lunch. It was nice to visit with my dad, stepmom, sister and Granddad. The kids had a great time running around and playing as well.

After my Granddads house, we went to our Aunt Debbies house for Christmas dinner. Everyone was there, and we all had a great time! The kids ran around and played with their cousins (Gio, Gabby, Sofia, Dominic and Luca) the entire night. They also got to open presents from everyone. They had so much fun!

Christmas morning!

Micah and Julia woke up around 8am on Christmas morning to see what Santa brought them! When Micah came out of his room, he was SO excited to see all the gifts under the tree, and that Santa had eaten the cookies we left out and drank his milk! Micah was so happy to get a skateboard, transformers and some new planet heroes. Julia was happy to have gotten some baby dolls and my little ponies. They had a great time opening all their gifts from Santa!

Presents from Abeulo, Abeula, Tia Siori and Tio Fermin!

On Christmas Eve, Kenji's family came over to celebrate Christmas with us. We had such a great time! We all had dinner together, and after dinner the kids opened their presents. Micah got a transformer from Abuela and Abuelo that he loves! He also got a big tent from Tia and Tio that he has been playing with since Christmas Eve! And when he opened his gift from Tia Pilar and saw that it was a leap pad, he said, "I always wanted one of these!" Julia got a baby doll from Abuela and Abuelo that she has fallen in love with and pushes around in the stroller Tia Pilar got for her. She also got an adorable stuffed sheep from Tia and Tio, as well as a doggy pillow she has been sleeping on since Christmas! They had so much fun and loved all of their gifts from Abuela, Abuelo, Tia & Tio, and from their Tia Pilar.

Presents from Grandma!

On Christmas Eve morning, my mom came over early to give Micah and Julia their presents. Micah was so excited and had so much fun! We weren't sure if Julia would really understand what to do, but she totally did! She had SO much fun opening her gifts and loved them all!

Visiting family!

Kenji's cousin, Pilar, was visiting town this weekend. We drove to Bakersfield where Kenji's parents live to visit her, his parents and his sister, Siori. It was so nice to be able to see Pilar because she lives in Chile and we don't get to see her often. We spent the weekend (12/20 - 12/21) visiting, and it was a lot of fun. The kids had a great time playing with Tia Siori, Tia Pilar, Abeula and Abuelo and Kenji and I had a nice time talking and catching up with everyone. Micah was so sad to leave on Sunday, he wanted to stay another day at his Abeulo and Abuela's!

Chuck E. Cheese

This past weekend (12/20-12/21) Kenji, the kids and I went to visit Kenji's parents in Bakersfield because Kenji's cousin, Pilar, was visiting from Chile. On Saturday, Pilar took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese along with me and Siori. Micah and Julia had SO much fun there! Micah played game after game, and also enjoyed playing in the jungle gym they have there. Julia's favorite part was putting tokens into the games! However, Julia did win the jackpot on one game and won 42 tickets all on her own!! At the end, Micah and Julia got to turn in their tickets. They ended up with 200 tickets and were able to trade it in for Candy and a few toys. They had so much fun and were so happy that Pilar had taken them to Chuck E. Cheese!
