Micah and his friends

These past couple weeks Micah has had some play dates with some of his friends. He always has so much fun with his friends and never wants to go back home! In the top picture he is riding scooters with his friend Matthew and in the bottom picture he is playing in his friend, Kannons, room.

Playing at the park

Micah goes to summer camp every week, but before I drop Micah off, Julia and him like to play on the playground. Julia is really starting to love the park! Her favorite that day was the see saw. She had never been on one before and she really didn't want to get off.

Musician in the making?

Yesterday we went to a friends house so that Kenji and his friend, Geo, could practice playing their instruments. As soon as Geo walked away from his drums, Micah ran to sit down and immediatly started to play. He had so much fun and LOVED playing the drums!!

Micah and Julia

It is rare that Micah and Julia are sitting nicely next to eachother without one bothering the other so I always jump at the chance to take a picture of them when they are sitting together being nice.

Sleepy Baby

Julia hadn't taken a nap all day long and while I was cooking dinner she just passed out! I came out from the Kitchen to find her fast asleep while trying to climb over her little couch. She was just so exhausted!

Ventura County Fair

On Thursday (7/31) Nichole and I took Micah and Julia to the Ventura County Fair. They both had such a great time! Micah went on most of the rides there! He even went on some really fast rides. His favorite was this really tall twisty slide that you slide down on in a potatoe sack. He went on ferris wheels, bumper boats, bumper cars, trains, etc. He played a few games as well and won a gold fish. He was so excited!! Julia had a great time too - although she was to little to ride any of the rides, but she had fun watching from the sidelines. She did love the petting zoo though! I had to keep her from kissing all of the animals! She kept trying to hug and kiss a baby goat. It was so cute! She loved the animals - until one of the babies kept trying to eat her shirt! Then she got a little scared. We were there for 5hrs!! We were all exhausted by the end of the day, but we all had a great time!!
