Halloween!

Tonight (10/31/09) we took Micah and Julia Trick Or Treating at Brian and Vanessa's house (Micah and Julia are good friends with their kids, Lila and Siddha). Siori and Fermin also drove down to go Trick Or Treating with us! The kids had a GREAT time! They got lots of candy and were exhausted by the end! It was a successfull night! Although, Julia DID NOT want to wear her costume! She just wanted the candy.

Carving Pumpkins!

The kids were SO excited about their pumpkin, we carved it tonight as well!

* They were too excited and couldn't wait for Kenji to get home from school, so it is definitely not as creative as it would be if Kenji had carved it!!*

Pumpkin Patch

The kids and I have been sick this past week, but we are all starting to feel better, so Kenji and I decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. They had so much fun! They got to run around and look at all the pumpkins, and they also got to go in bouncy houses, obstacle courses, a bouncy slide and a petting zoo!

* Julia is wearing her cow rain boots because she refuses to wear anything else!*

School work

Micah has been doing very well in school. He routinely brings home good citizenship awards (if they have good behavior ALL week, they get an award on Friday). He also works very hard on his classwork and homework (although, coloring is STILL a challenge - he just DOES NOT like it!). Below are some pictures of the work he has done in class or for homework:

Hollow Hills Family Fun Fair

On October 9th, Micah's school had a Family Fun Fair! We were there for almost 5hrs.! They had game booths, inflatable slides and jumpers, bake sales, raffles, and the playground was open. Both Micah and Julia had SO much fun! Micah's favorite thing to do was the fish ping pong (he won a fish his first try!) and playing on the playground. Julia's favorite activity was decorating pumpkins and playing on the playground.

Hello everyone!! It has been SO long since I have updated this blog (almost a month!!!) but we have been SO busy since Micah started school!!! Our days are filled with school related activities. Micah is in school full time this year, and I have also volunteered to be the classroom Mom for Micah's class! So between school, volunteering, homework, class projects and activities, that leaves little extra time! I am going to try to start updating just as much as I have previously done!
