Shanes Inspiration Park

After Travel Town I took Micah, Julia and Matthew to Shanes Inspiration park in Griffith Park. Its a HUGE playground for children of all ages (and also for kids with disabilities). They have four different sections to the playground for the children. They have swings, slides, castles to play in, and several big play structers to climb on. The kids had SO much fun and played there for hours!

Travel Town

Today (6/29), I took Micah, Julia, and their friend, Matthew to Travel Town in Griffith Park. The kids had SO much fun running around on the train tracks and looking at all of the old trains from the outside and from the inside. Travel Town also has a little train that the kids can ride. I took them all for a ride on the train and they were so excited! The train circles the entire train museum two times. The kids had a great time there today!

Micah and Somali's birthday party

On June 13th, my dad and Soursdey had a birthday party at their house for Somali and Micah since their birthdays are very close together in May. All of Soursdey's family and my Granddad were there to celebrate as well. We all had a great time and Micah and Julia had so much fun playing with Somali and her cousins. Micah and Julia also LOVED Somali's new puppy! Julia followed the puppy around all day! Thank you to my Dad and Soursdey for having us over and for everything that day!

Micah's skateboarding lesson

On Saturday (June 13th), Micah had his first skateboarding lesson. He got a skateboard for Christmas (Christmas 2008) and he didn't know how to ride it well, so I signed him up for lessons. He had such a great time and learned how to get himself up on his skateboard correctly.

Preschool Graduation

On Friday (June 5th), Micah graduated from preschool! They had a small performance (in which Micah did not want to sing) and then we had lunch with the class afterwards. This fall Micah will be in Kindergarden, which is so hard to believe!!
