When Micah was playing flag football, they had a picture day. We just recieved them in the mail today.

Micah's 2nd Tball game

Yesterday (March 18th), Micah had his second Tball game! He was excited because Abuela and Abeulo got to watch him as well! He loves going up to bat, and is starting to remember to run to first base after he hits the ball! He gets a bit bored in the outfield, however, and is more than happy to just stand back on the field and let the other children catch the ball.

Feeding the ducks

On Friday (March 18th), Kenji's parents came to Simi to visit for the day. One of the things we did with them was go to the park to let the kids play. The park we went to has a big duck pond and both kids love watching them. We all walked down by the water, and the people next to us were nice enough to give Micah and Julia some bread to feed the ducks. They were SO excited! They loved feeding the ducks - and Julia kept trying to hand feed them!

Julia's 3rd Birthday!

Yesterday (March 2nd) was Julia's 3rd birthday! I still can't believe that my baby is 3 years old already! It just doesn't seem possible! We had a great day. I let her pick what we did all day yesterday. First she wanted to go to the mall, so we went for almost 3hrs! She got to play in the play center, build a bear at Build A Bear Workshop and buy some bracelets! After the mall we picked Micah up from school and headed to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. Both kids had a great time running around and playing. We were there for almost 3hrs. as well. After, we came home and the kids played with their friends for a little bit. Soon after that Julia passed out for the night!

Micah's first Tball game!

Yesterday (March 1st) was Micah's very first Tball game!! He had been going to practices for a couple weeks - but had never played in a real game. He was so excited!! I can't get over how cute he looked all dressed up in his uniform! And he did great! Of course he had his moments (Ok, a lot of moments!) where the dirt had his attention more than the game - but once the coaches yelled at him to focus, he caught the ball and threw it to the right places! In the outfield he played 1st base, and it was so exciting to watch! When it was his turn to bat, he did amazing! He hit the ball on his first try and ran right to 1st base (with a little reminder from the coach to run!) I cannot wait for more games!

Fast asleep!

I went into Micah's room just a few minutes ago to see if he had fallen asleep yet, and when I walked in this is how I found him. Completely asleep with his toy laying across his face!
