Science Discovery Museum

Today (6/28/2010) I took the kids to the Science Discovery Museum in Santa Ana. We have never been before, and I thought the kids would like it. They had a great time there! We spent most of the day walking around the museum, and the kids got to interact SO much! Micah got to go on a Dino Quest, where he had to follow a map and find different dinosaur fossils. We also got to see a 4D movie about dinosaurs and the kids loved that! We had such a great time there and the kids can't wait to go back!

Nichole and Cody's wedding!!

My sister's wedding was this Saturday (June 26, 2010) and it was AMAZING! My sister was SO beautiful! I am so very happy for my sister and Cody! Micah and Julia had a great time! Julia had meltdowns throughout the day, but she was quiet and sweet durring the important parts - her and Micah walked down the isle amazingly and sat so nice durring the ceremony. Durring the reception they danced and had such a great time. We all had a great time and danced the night away!!

The day before my sister's wedding we went to get manicures and pedicures! Julia came along with us and got her very first pedicure! She did SO well and was so excited to have her nails and toes painted. She looked so cute!

Summer time!

Today the kids and I had a great day! Micah had a summer day camp at a park in Thousand Oaks. It was from 12pm - 1:30pm and they got to go down a gigantic slip n' slide and do other water activities. While Micah was in his class, I took Julia to the playground at that park. She had a great time playing in the sand, on the swings and the slide! After Micah's class was over, we headed out for some lunch and ice cream afterwards! Then we went over to the outdoor mall here in Simi. The kids had a great time running around in the playcenter and looking at the fish in the pond.

Father's Day!

On Kenji's birthday (also Father's Day) Micah wanted to surprise Kenji with a gift. We went to Brookstone to look around and Micah saw these mini helicopters. He REALLY wanted them for him and Kenji to fly together. We bought them and surprised Kenji when he got home on his birthday. Tonight they had a chance to fly them! Micah was SO excited and Kenji liked them a lot too!

We went out to dinner last night for Kenji's birthday and for Father's Day. Kenji had a lemon slice in his drink and Julia grabbed it and licked it!

Today we watched my sisters dog, Lola. The kids always have a lot of fun playing with her!

Fun at the park

After Micah rode his bike at the skatepark for awhile, we walked over to the park next door and Micah and Julia got to play there for awhile. It was a fun day out in the sun!

Bike park

Today is the first official day of summer vacation!! It was such a nice day! It started out slowly, just relaxing at home and then around 3pm I took the kids to Newbury Park so that Micah could ride his bike in the skate park. They have a couple days a week where you can ride your bike there. It was his first time riding his bike on the track, and he had so much fun! He fell a couple of times in the begining because he was trying to do jumps on his bike - but then once he realized what he could and could not do yet, he stopped falling.

Dodgers end of season party

Today (June 13th) was Micah's Tball party. Yesterday was his last game, so today we had an end of the season party. We all met at Lemon Park here in Simi. The park is great because in the summer they have a water playground as well. The kids had a great time! We had a BBQ and then cake afterwards. And all of the kids got to run around and play together. It was a great afternoon! We will definitely miss baseball and can't wait until next season!
