Party Time!
Yesterday (3/19/11), Julia had her birthday party at Build A Bear Workshop. She was SO excited because this was her first birthday party with friends. There were 23 of her friends there!! She got to invite all of her friends from school, plus her friends from outside of school. They all had a great time! Everyone got to build a bear and dress it up. After the party, we went down into the food court for juice and cupcakes. Julia was so happy because we ordered her Hello Kitty and Keropi cupcakes. All of the kids loved them!

Baseball season!!
Baseball season has started! Micah moved up to coach pitch this year and is back playing on the Dodgers. He had his first game yesterday. He did really well! He was able to hit the ball from the pitching machine. When his team was out in the outfield, he played pitcher one inning and catcher in the second inning. He did a great job!!
Ontario Outlets
The other day we all had a free day together (rarely happens!!) so we spent the day at the Ontario Outlets. We went to the Rainforest Cafe, walked around the shops and took the kids to the arcade that is in the mall. It was a fun day! The kids love the Rainforest Cafe because the inside looks like the rainforest with animals everywhere. They also had a blast in the arcade!!

Mother/Son event
Tonight was the Mother/Son event for Micah's school. We went to the nearby Jr. High for the Starwars Mother/Son program. The boys all got Jedi trained. They got light sabers and got to learn how to use them and fight against characters from Star Wars. It was a fun night! Micah had SO much fun!!! It was definitely his "thing"!
Great Works Of Art
Every Thursday in Micah's class they have a program called Great Works Of Art. One of the moms comes in and teaches the class about an artist and then the kids recreate a piece of artwork from that specific artist. I go in usually every Thursday to help out. I love working in Micahs classroom! I haven't had anyone to watch Julia while I go in, so she has just been coming with me. She is LOVING it!
Julia turns 4!
On Wednesday Julia turned 4yrs. old! She had school that day and normally I drop her off on Wednesdays, but I worked in her class because it was her birthday. She was so incredibly excited that she was turning 4! She wore her special birthday shirt and the class sang happy birthday to her. She also passed out cupcakes at the end of the day. She had so much fun in class on her birthday!!

Fun with Eeyore!
Julia got to bring Eeyore home from school! Each school day, one parent is responsible for bringing a snack for all of the children. When it is your turn to bring snack, your child gets to bring Eeyore home. The kids just LOVE doing this - ESPECIALLY Julia!! You are also suppose to take pictures of what you do with Eeyore and glue them into the classroom book. Julia gets to share with the whole class on what she and Eeyore did.
This week she took Eeyore out to dinner with us (to celebrate her birthday a day early) and she took him to get a manicure and pedicure.
