Snow!

On our way to Bakersfield, to visit Kenji's family, we stopped in a nearby city where they still had some snow left from the weeks cold spell. It was the first time the kids had been somewhere where it actually did snow (not imported). It was FREEZING with incredibly strong winds, but the kids were bundled up and had the best time! They ran around in the snow and enjoyed making (and throwing) snowballs! Micah kept asking Kenji to throw snowballs at him! Julia loved making footprints in the snow and walking around in it. They got to play around for about 45min. before they were too cold to stay out any longer. We hurried up back into the car and turned the heat on high! They had so much fun playing in the snow though, and they want to go back!

If you all came up here right now, Micah and Julia would have all the snow they could possibly want! We're up to about a foot, and more on the way. The most snow in 40 years! It'll be a white Christmas for sure...
