On New Years Eve, Kenji, the kids and I, drove up to Bakersfield to spend New Years with Kenji's family. Silvia and Shuji are moving soon to San Jose, so we wanted to spend a few days visiting before they moved. Everyone had such a great time. We all had a nice time visiting, and the kids LOVE playing with Abuela, Abuelo, Tia and Tio Fermin! Micah kept Tia and Tio busy playing Transformers and Julia had so much fun playing with Abuela! We were there for 2 nights, and on the last day, Micah didn't want to leave!

All the holiday pics are wonderful! Micah looks so determined and dashing on his new skateboard, and Julia is just adorable...what a knockout in that red coat! :) Happy New Year, everyone!
