Kenji and I took the kids to the California Science Center this past Monday, on Labor Day. We had never been there before and Micah wanted to see the Mummy exhibit. The kids had a great time! When we first got there we saw the Hubble 3D movie. It was a really neat movie! We got to watch the astronauts go up into space and fix the hubble. It was amazing to see the solar system so upclose and in such spectacular detail. We all loved the movie. After the movie we went into the museum and looked around in the body section. The kids got to see how their heart and lungs work. Once we were done in there it was time to see the Mummy exhibit. It was amazing and gross all at the same time to see all of these mummys. Micah couldn't believe they were real people that had been mummified, right in front of him. He kept asking if every one of them were real. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take any pictures inside of the exhibit. After that we went into the ecosystems exhibits. We got to look at each ecosystem and what lives there. We went into the Polars ecosystem and the kids felt a real ice wall and they loved it! We also went into the desert ecosystem and we watched a flash flood. We all had a great time and we have to go back another day to finish looking at the entire museum.
