Micah's First Day Of Kindergarten!!

Today (9/26/09) is Micah's very first day of Kindergarden at Hollow Hills Fundamental Elementary school!! He was so very excited to start and woke up bright and early at 6:45am! We got to his school at about 7:45am, so that he had some time before class started to play on the playground. At 8am, he and his classmates lined up in front of the classroom and the teacher (Mrs. Cooper) let them into the classroom. I went into his classroom with him for about 45 minutes. Mrs. Cooper had the children go on a scavenger hunt to find different things and places around the classroom (the bathrooms, sink, their desk, etc.). Then they sat down to do some coloring. Micah was really enjoying himself. When it was time for me to leave, he wasn't scared at all! He was so excited that he got to stay for the day! I go to pick him up at 1:00pm this afternoon!
